Guidance is a light that illuminates the heart and mind, guiding a servant toward obedience and piety. However, that alone is not enough. One also needs this to be able to implement what guidance has taught.
Taufik provides the strength and ability to overcome temptations, challenges, and obstacles in carrying out Allah's commands. This enables a Muslim to practice Islamic teachings sincerely and consistently.

Taufik comes from the Arabic word "توفيق," which means ability or suitability. In a religious context, it refers to the ability or capability granted by Allah to a servant to perform good deeds and be obedient.
Taufik is Allah's help that enables a person to correctly carry out His commands and avoid His prohibitions. Taufik is not merely knowledge of right and wrong, but also includes the ability to choose and carry out the right action.
For example, someone might know that the five daily prayers are obligatory. However, this is a God-given ability that enables them to perform them devoutly and on time. Another example is that the Quran is a source of guidance, yet few people recite it regularly.
