The reading activity of the Koran together raised the theme of Indonesia United Indonesia Rise.
On this occasion, he welcomed the cooperation of the Pesantren Business Economic Association (Hebitren) and the Nur Quran Indonesia Foundation in the Indonesian Qur'an Hours.
"Indeed, besides reading every minute, every hour, every [day], but also how to practice the Qur'an, apply the Qur'an. One of them in the economic field, looking for fortune," said the Vice President.
Ending his remarks, the Vice President hopes that Muslims in the country can embody every teachings of the Qur'an in their daily lives.
"Hopefully Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala makes us as the people of the Qur'an who always read the Qur'an every minute every hour and practice the Qur'an and apply the Qur'an in all aspects, including in the economic field, in accordance with sharia," he concluded.
Previously, the Chairperson of the Central Board of the Pesantren Business Economic Association (DPP Hebitren) Moh. Hasib Wahab Chasbullah stated, this annual agenda was intended to draw closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala through the Qur'an. Indonesia Qur'an Hours 2024 can also be a momentum to move together to realize the independence of the people so that this event is coupled with a seminar and workshop entitled "Transferring the Path of Economic Independence of the People in Indonesia Emas 2045".
"This activity aims to invite everyone to draw closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala with the Qur'an, carry out the noble teachings contained in the Qur'an, as well as doing good in accordance with the values of the Qur'an, as well as being a momentum of a big agenda encouraging the creation of the ideals of the economic independence of the people in Indonesia," said Hasib Wahab.
Also present at this event, the High Priest of the Istiqlal Nasaruddin Umar Mosque and the Chairperson of the Nur Quran Indonesia Foundation as well as the Commissioner of the Quran Cordoba Ir.H. Djoni Rosadi.
Meanwhile, the Vice President was accompanied by the Head of the Vice President's Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, Special Staff of Vice President Mohamad Nasir, Masduki Baidlowi, and Lukmanul Hakim, and the Vice President Iggi Haruman Achsien.
