Bandung, February 27, 2025 – Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, Quran Cordoba held an Employee Gathering & Ramadan Tarhib on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Quran Cordoba Head Office, Jl. Sukajadi No. 215, Bandung City. The event was interesting and solemn.

This event was attended by all employees from the head office and branches, with a series of main agendas in the form of speeches from the President Director, Ustadz Usman el-Qurtuby, Commissioner of Quran Cordoba, Mr. H. Djoni Rosadi, tausiyah from Ustadz Lasanova Humaidi Yusrian, as well as a silaturahim session between employees. Guided by the extraordinary host, Ustadz Cep Ma'mun, the event began with a solemn and beautiful recitation of the Quran recited by Ustadz Ayi Yusri A. Tirmidzi.

Speeches from the Cordoba Leadership

In his opening remarks, Mr. Usman reminded everyone to stay close to the Quran. This Ramadan is the best opportunity for self-improvement. Spirituality and well-being must be maintained, especially for employees working at Quran Cordoba; it would be a shame to read it less often. Whatever division or field you're in, let the Quran be your lifeblood. Don't waste this Ramadan.

Meanwhile, Mr. H. Djoni Rosadi advised all those present that work is not just about earning income, but a struggle to serve and spread His word.

"This Al-Quran is a legacy from Allah SWT." he said

Working at Quran Cordoba means striving to convey His verses. The goal isn't just for this world, but rather, we are part of a group heading towards Allah's paradise. Mr. Djoni often reminds us of the plight of Muslims, the dismal quality of their Islam, due to the failure to apply Quranic values.

The Prophet came to improve morals, by applying what is in the Koran.

Therefore, the Quranic derivatives produced in Cordoba must be practical, such as maintaining cleanliness and tidiness, and disposing of trash properly. Also, remember that attention to good manners and etiquette is crucial for the Muslim community, especially for new generations like Gen Z, who are familiar with social media.

Finally, his advice is not to stay in your comfort zone, because Cordoba's motto is to provide inspiration for love and life with the Quran.

Therefore, the Quran needs to be detailed, elaborated, with interesting, innovative content that is easy to apply in small things in everyday life.

The final piece of advice Mr. Djoni gave was, "You must be at the forefront in inspiring others, being a role model of morals according to the Quran." He added. 

Tarhib Ramadhan Sermon with Ustadz Lasanova

In addition, the tausiyah and tarhib Ramadhan material delivered by Ustadz Lasanova Humaidi Yusrian inspired all participants to make Ramadhan an opportunity to improve themselves and increase their piety towards Allah SWT.

Ustadz Lasanova began his explanation with the tasyri jurisprudence of the command of Shoum Ramadhan, according to the periodization of the Prophet SAW's preaching.

The command to fast during Ramadan began to be revealed in the 2nd year of Hijri, precisely in the month of Sha'ban, several days before the arrival of Ramadan, namely in the letter Al-Baqarah verse 183.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ God bless you لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَۙ

Meaning: " O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become pious."

Furthermore, the theme of the sermon was "The main target of Ramadan development" in accordance with the verses of the Quran related to fasting in verses 184, 185, 186, 187, for example at the end of the verse, including:

اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ‏ Having Knowledge

وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ Grateful servant

لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡشُدُوۡنَ‏ On the right path

لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُوۡنَ‏ God-fearing servant

This event is a valuable moment for all employees to strengthen ties of friendship and foster enthusiasm in carrying out the Ramadan prayer with full sincerity and sincerity.
