📍 Jakarta, February 24, 2025 – The 2025 Quranic Miracles Seminar and Workshop was successfully held, bringing together scholars, academics, and experts in the study of the scientific miracles of the Quran from various countries. The event, which took place from February 20 to 24, 2025, aimed to further explore the scientific evidence in the Quran and develop concepts and strategies for scientifically based da'wah.

This event was initiated by Wafaa Indonesia as the main organizer, with the support of various Islamic and academic institutions, and involving Muslim commentators, scientists, and scholars from various parts of the world.

Activity Mission: Synergizing Science and Revelation

‍

This seminar and workshop seeks to build public understanding of the harmony between revelation and modern science, and to make the study of scientific miracles in the Qur'an an effective and rational means of preaching in the digital era.

‍

In his remarks, Dr. Taufik Ramlan Wijaya, Chairman of Wafaa Indonesia, stated that this event was a crucial opportunity to open a dialogue between science and faith. He stated:

Participant Participation

This event succeeded in attracting extraordinary participation, with a total of 275 participants, most of whom were huffazh (memorizers of the Al-Qur'an) from all over Indonesia, who helped enrich the scientific nuances and beauty of reading the Al-Qur'an.

Results and Recommendations 

Based on the results of the discussion and agreement of the participants in the Multaqo I'jaz Ilmi Fil Qur'an, and with the aim of strengthening the correct understanding of the Book of Allah and strengthening the study of scientific miracles as an effective means of preaching and spreading knowledge, this multaqo recommends the following:

As a result of the presentations, discussions and studies over the 5 days, a number of strategic recommendations have been formulated, including:

1️⃣ Established the I'jaz Ilmi Fil Qur'an Study Institute as a research and academic center that studies the scientific miracles of the Qur'an.

‍

2️⃣ Establish a Special Scientific Committee to develop the curriculum and build a network of Muslim scientists who focus on this study.

‍

3️⃣ Establish a Scientific Endowment Fund to support research and development of scientific miracle studies in the Qur'an.

‍

4️⃣ Developing the I'jaz Ilmi Fil Qur'an Scientific Forum, which will be a forum for alumni of the activity and academics to share scientific studies and research.

‍

5️⃣ Holding similar ongoing activities as well as seminars and training to broaden public understanding of the scientific miracles in the Qur'an.

‍

6️⃣ Building a Digital Education Channel, which provides content based on scientific Quranic studies for broader and more sustainable da'wah.

Creating a dedicated platform that continuously provides information, educational content, and research findings on the scientific miracles of the Quran. This platform includes:

It is hoped that these recommendations will serve as a guide for developing scientific studies of miracles in the Quran as part of da'wah (Islamic outreach) and strengthening the community's understanding of the majesty of God's revelation. Hopefully, this initiative will provide broad benefits to the Islamic world and be a concrete step toward realizing a scientific treatise based on the Quran and Sunnah.
