Learn the best time for Muslims to pray and ask for His help. Read on for an explanation and basis for the best time to pray.

Praying is essentially servitude to Him

As religious people, taking time to pray to the Creator is an obligation. In Islam, prayer is one way to draw closer to Allah SWT.

"Pray to Me, I will answer your prayers. Indeed, those who pride themselves because they are reluctant to worship Me will be put into Hell in a state of humiliation" (QS. Ghafir: 60)

This verse is proof that Allah SWT commands His people to always pray to Him. So, pray that your requests or hopes will be answered by Him. However, do you know the best time to pray?

This is the perfect time to pray

In fact, there are several optimal times for your prayers to be answered by Allah SWT. To ensure you're not mistaken, here are some of the best times to offer prayers to Allah SWT that will be answered.

1.      The Time Between the Adhan and the Iqomah

First, the best time to pray to God is between the call to prayer and the iqamah. After the call to prayer and before the iqamah, it is the best time to surrender and ask Him.

Not haphazardly, this is in accordance with the words of the Prophet Muhammad. The saying reads "If the call to prayer for prayer has been uttered, then the doors of heaven will be opened, and prayers will be answered." (HR. Ahmad and Turmudzi).

2.      When Prostrating in Prayer

Next, time for prayer is while prostrating during prayer. Praying to Allah SWT while prostrating during prayer is highly effective and easily answered.

The recommendation to recite prayers while prostrating in prayer is in accordance with the Hadith narrated by Muslim, 482. “The Messenger of Allah said: A servant is closest to his Lord when he is prostrating. So pray a lot at that time.”

3.      Time After Obligatory Prayer

Prayer is an obligatory act of worship for Muslims. However, many people immediately leave after completing their prayers to continue with worldly affairs.

In fact, rushing off after prayers without first praying is a shame. time for prayers to be answered is after completing obligatory prayers, so don't waste it.

Not haphazardly, this recommendation is stated in the Holy Koran, Surah An-Nisa verse 103. "When you have finished praying, make dhikr of Allah standing, sitting or lying down, on your stomachs."

4.      In the Last Third of the Night

The last third of the night is time for prayer, which is efficacious and guaranteed to be answered. This is the hour leading up to dawn or during the pre-dawn meal, when you should pray to Him.

The last third of the night is indeed the most special moment and there are lots of nights you can do. Including offering the best prayers and wishes to the Creator.

Rasulullah SAW said, "Indeed at night there is a time when by chance a Muslim prays for goodness in this world and the hereafter, then Allah will grant his prayer. And that efficacious time continues every night." (HR. Ahmad and Muslim).

5.      On Friday

Next comes Friday, one of the most sacred days in Islam. On this day, there are many recommended practices to perform, including time for prayer the best and most effective

Rasulullah SAW said, "On Friday there is a time when by chance a Muslim prays while asking Allah SWT for something, then Allah will give him whatever he asks for." (HR. Bukhari and Muslim).

6.      On the Night of Laylatul Qadr

Next comes Laylat al-Qadr, the night of 1,000 months and considered the most auspicious night of all. No one knows the exact time, but it is clear that this night falls among the odd-numbered nights of the last 10 days of Ramadan.

"The night of glory is better than a thousand months. On that night the angels descended, including the angel Gabriel with the permission of his Lord to arrange all affairs. That night was full of prosperity until dawn." (QS. Al-Qadr: 3-4).

7.      When the Rain Falls

The next is when it rains, because rain is a blessing for Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Two people whose prayers are not rejected are when the call to prayer is given and when the ranks are close together during battle." Another narration states, "And when it rains." (Narrated by Abu Dawud).
