A Quranic warrior has passed away. The late H. Vidi Hanggito, or PakJi, concluded his service in Cordoba with sincerity and love for the Divine Word. His passing teaches us that life is a transit to eternity. Let's fill our time with the best deeds, for death is certain, and everyone will return. We are ready to continue your struggle, PakJi. The Quran is my spirit, Cordoba3x – Allahu Akbar.

That Saturday night, grief struck the extended Qur'an Cordoba family. The news of the return to God of our beloved brother, the late H. Vidi Hanggito—whom we affectionately called PakJi—left a deep wound.
His earthly duties were complete, serving sincerely under the protection of the Holy Book he held in his hand, his reading almost visible to me after every prayer, he took the time to open the Mushaf, at least to chat and dialogue with the Creator. At the age of 49, he ended his journey in the world, after more than 13 years of faithful service, leading the Cordoba Quran sales force with perseverance and a great soul.
Brother, actually this world is just a transitory stopover. Nothing is permanent, nothing is permanent. Some come bringing hope, and some leave leaving memories. Life is a meeting, and the end is separation — because every soul will surely meet its end.
"Every soul will taste death. And indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, your reward will be given in full."
(QS. Ali 'Imran: 185)
No matter how proudly this body stands, it will eventually bow to the stillness of the body. No matter how high a position or how abundant the wealth held and possessed, all will cease with the last breath.
My brothers, while life still burns in our chests, let us ask ourselves: Have we planted enough good deeds to harvest in the eternal land? Have we prepared provisions for a certain journey, towards meeting the Owner of the Day of Judgment? Are our bowing and prostration still subject to many revisions? Are we still letting our mushaf gather dust? – which makes the dust scatter in our souls, covering every good deed with the arrogance of the soul.
This world is but a mirage—it seems real, but we never truly possess it. We pursue it, but we never fully grasp it. Because ultimately, what's eternal isn't this world, but the afterlife that awaits.
“And the life of this world is nothing but deceptive pleasure.” (QS. Al-Hadid: 20)
Now, another seat in our row is empty. Another soul has returned to God's bosom. Today, PakJi has passed away. Tomorrow, any of us—Managers, Supervisors, Staff, Freelancers, or even Directors—could follow in his footsteps. Because every soul has a time to return home, and none can postpone it.
Goodbye, Akhuuna VIDI. Our prayers accompany your steps. May Allah accept all your deeds, forgive all your mistakes, and place you in the best place by His side.
Please know, we have lost a lot.
"Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we will return." (QS. Al-Baqarah: 156)
"O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, save and forgive him. Ennoble his residence, expand his grave, cleanse him with water, snow and dew. Clean him from mistakes as a white cloth is cleaned from stains. Replace his house with a better house, his family with a better family, and his partner with a better partner. Enter him into heaven, and protect him from the torment of the grave and the torment of hell." (HR. Muslim no. 963)
Allahu a'lamu bish-shawab.
