Vice President Ma'ruf Amin (fourth left), Chairman of the Islamic Boarding School Economics and Business Association (HEBITREN) Hasib Wahab Chasbullah (second right), Grand Imam of Istiqlal Mosque Nasaruddin Umar (second left) and Chairman of the Nur Quran Indonesia Foundation Djoni Rosadi (right) attended the Indonesia Quran Hours 2024 event at Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, Thursday (3/28/2024). The collective Quran reading activity carried the theme of United Indonesia, Rising Indonesia.

On this occasion, he warmly welcomed the collaboration between the Islamic Boarding School Business Economics Association (Hebitren) and the Nur Quran Indonesia Foundation in the Indonesia Qur'an Hours event.
"Indeed, we not only read every minute, every hour, every day, but we also practice and apply the Quran. One way is in the economic sphere, in earning a living," said the Vice President.
Concluding his remarks, the Vice President hoped that Muslims in the country would embody every teaching of the Qur'an in their daily lives.
"Hopefully, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will make us a people of the people of the Qur'an who always read the Qur'an every minute of every hour and practice the Qur'an and apply the Qur'an in all aspects, including in the economic sector that is social, in accordance with sharia," he concluded.
Previously, the Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Islamic Boarding School Economics and Business Association (DPP Hebitren), Moh. Hasib Wahab Chasbullah, stated that this annual event is intended to draw closer to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala through the Quran. Indonesia Qur'an Hours 2024 can also be a momentum to move together to realize the independence of the community, so this event is combined with a seminar and workshop entitled "Pathways to Economic Independence of the Community in Golden Indonesia 2045.".
"This activity aims to invite everyone to get closer to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala through the Qur'an, to practice the noble teachings contained in the Qur'an, and to do good deeds in accordance with the values of the Qur'an, while also being used as a momentum for a major agenda to encourage the creation of the ideal of economic independence for the people of Indonesia to welcome a golden Indonesia," explained Hasib Wahab.
Also present at this event were the Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque, Nasaruddin Umar, and the Chairman of the Nur Quran Indonesia Foundation and commissioner of Quran Cordoba, Ir.H. Djoni Rosadi.
Meanwhile, the Vice President was accompanied by the Head of the Vice President's Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, the Vice President's Special Staff Mohamad Nasir, Masduki Baidlowi, and Lukmanul Hakim, as well as the Vice President's Expert Team Iggi Haruman Achsien.
