Praise be to God, during the Eid al-Adha celebrations, Quran Cordoba consistently provides one sacrificial cow, with seven of its employees making the sacrifice each year. For the 12 years since its founding, the company has consistently committed to slaughtering sacrificial animals on behalf of its employees, sharing the blessings with the community.

Hopefully this sacrifice will be a form of concern, proof of our role model as a leading Quran publishing company.

The slaughtering ceremony was held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, or the 13th of Dzulhijjah 1445 H, the third day of tasyrik. Since 8:00 a.m., employees had been preparing, gathering in large numbers in the front yard of Quran Cordoba's head office, Jl. Sukajadi No. 215, Bandung City.

The event was opened enthusiastically by Mr. Budi, followed by a prayer and sermon by Ust. Iwan and a speech by Mr. Asep as the HRGA manager who directed the slaughtering process.

The 7 employees who were chosen to 'sacrifice' were called to the front, their names were called out one by one.

The opening closed with typical Cordoba chants:

"Al-Quran...My spirit...! Cordoba Cordoba Cordoba...Allahuakbar!

As for 2024, employees who received awards from the company as muqorib for sacrifice and their divisions include:

1. Yuran Ramadhan (R&D Dept.)

2. Sri Hartuti (Cab. Jakarta.)

3. Byan Wismansyah (B2C Sales)

4. Diemas Riyadh (B2B Sales)

5. Mohammad Arief Maulana (Digital Mkt. Dept.)

6. Rizal Andri Soekarno (Logistics Dept.)

7. Muhamad Ihsan Ramadhan (PPIC Dept.)

At just after 9 a.m., Ust Romli, the butcher, had finished slaughtering a fairly large cow, assisted by several other people. The committee, all 30 employees in attendance, were also present.

All employees who attended recited takbir tahmid tahlil, in accordance with Islamic law, there are many prayers and dhikr when making sacrifices.

  God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing الْحَمْدُ

Allâhu akbar, Allâhu akbar, Allâhu akbar, walillâhil hamd Meaning, "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, all praise be to You."

Also read basmallah and shalawat for Rasulullah saw اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ . It means, "My God, bestow mercy on the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his family."

As soon as the Dhuhr call to prayer sounded, all the slaughtering and cutting processes were completed. Praise be to Allah, may He be glorified and exalted

Distribution of Sacrificial Animal Meat

The sacrificial meat is ready to be distributed. The 610 kg cow has now been divided into hundreds of packages of meat and bones. Everything has been prepared in white plastic bags. In addition to the employees present, employees at the Bandung and Jakarta branch offices also received their share. They are being separated.

Sharing blessings with everyone, the community around the Cordoba office also benefits. Mosques, foundations, orphanages, and vendors receive a share of the meat.

Alhamdulillah, by Asr prayer time, all the meat had been distributed. God willing

It's amazing how hard the committee worked to distribute it.
