What is Al-Muawwidzataini? The surahs of the Quran have many virtues. There are other names for this surah, such as Surah Al-Fatihah, also called Ummul Kitab, Sab'ul Matsani, all of which have their own evidence.
What is Al-Muawwidzataini? The surahs of the Quran have many virtues, there are other names as the name of the surah, such as surah Al-Fatihah also called ummul kitab, Sab'ul Matsani, all have evidence, so there are 2 surahs called al-muawwidzataini meaning surah to ask for protection from evil, these 2 surahs have special privileges so that we get protection from Allah SWT from various evils.
In fact, these two suras are often recited as morning and evening dhikr prayers, after prayers and before bed, and as ruqyah (religious healing) recitations. So, what are the special qualities of these two suras, Al-Falaq and An-Nas? Let's discuss their contents.

3. and from the evil of the night when it is completely dark,
4. and from the evil (female) witches who blow on the gussets (strings),

a. The Prophet often read it during the night prayer, especially in the third rakaat.
History from Aisyah rha. who was once asked about the surah that the Prophet Muhammad SAW read. in witr prayer. The Apostle answered, "In the first rak'ah read surah Al-A'la, in the second rak'ah read surah Al-Kafirun, and in the third rak'ah read Al-Ikhlas as well as Al-Muawwidzataini (Al-Falaq and An-Nas)".
b. According to As-Suyuti, these two surahs are classified as Madaniyah, revealed after the migration to Medina, although the surahs are short in character, they are related to faith and belief, so that some scholars are of the opinion that these two surahs are Makkiyah, making this surah unique in that it is Madaniyah among the surahs of the Koran that have Makkiyah character.
c. Surahs that came down together at night and are incomparable
From 'Uqbah bin 'Amir, he said, Rasulullah saw. said, "Didn't you see the verses that were revealed tonight? There is nothing like them, namely qul a'udzu birabbin nas, and qul a'udzu birabbil falaq." (HR. Muslim, Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and An-Nasa'i)
d. Two suras which serve as protection from various evils such as magic, evil, Ain's disease, Satan's temptations, etc. The message from Rasulullah which was conveyed to Abdullah Bin Abbas was sufficient;
“O Ibn Abbas, shall I show you – or shall I tell you – the best thing to use for protection?” Ibn Abbas replied, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He then said: “Recite these two surahs: Qul a'udhu birabbil falaq and Qul a'udhu birabbin nas.” (Narrated by An-Nasa'i)
e. These two suras became medicine and protection. The Prophet's habit of reading Al-Quran surahs such as Al-Falaq and An-Nas before sleeping, as narrated by Aisyah, his wife.
From Aisyah rha , the Prophet Muhammad saw that when he went to bed every night, he put his palms together, then he blew with open hands and read surah al-Ikhlas, surah al-Falaq and surah an-Nas. Then with both palms, he rubbed his body, starting from the head and face and other body parts. He did this three times. (HR. Bukhari).
1. If we want to receive protection in this world and the hereafter, then immediately ask Allah, the Almighty, to protect us, not anyone other than Allah SWT.
2. Have you ever felt afraid of the evil of His creatures? Afraid of the pitch-black night? Afraid of magic and human malice? We've all felt it. So, internalize and recite these two suras to ask for His protection.
3. When you feel anxious, disappointed, or troubled, or feel like you're being targeted by evil spirits or humans, pray to Allah SWT for protection by repeatedly reciting the verses of the Quran, namely Al-Falaq and An-Nas.
It is enough that these lessons and virtues explain the content of Al-Muawwidzataini which is very great, the benefits are very great to be put into practice, in fact there are many other virtues that are unlimited, the 5 propositions above are quite representative for Muslims to practice during this time. The Al-Quran is an eternal miracle, there are many other Al-Quran surahs that have special qualities and can be a means for us to ask for protection from Allah SWT. all the verses of the Koran are Kalamullah, His revelation. May all friends of the Koran Istiqomah achieve His blessings and protection for the safety of this world and the hereafter. Amen!
