Science contained in the Koran is actually much broader and more complex, because it relates to education and knowledge. The means of human education that get, as much as possible can benefit him and the people around him.

Education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran

Basically, in the Qur'an contained verses that are a source of motivation for the development of science. In fact, the first letter that God sent down related to the issue of science.

This is the important meaning of education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran . Because with human science can have gained the advantage of the degree on earth.

1. The importance of education and knowledge

Generally, a person is educated, all his behavior and actions will always be maintained. In Islam, usually the most important source of teaching and instructions for its people is the Koran. 

This is as written in the word of Allah SWT below which explains education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran.

وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتٰبَ تِبْيَانogn

Meaning: "And we sent you al-Kitab (the Koran) to explain everything and instructions and grace and good news for those who surrender." (QS. An-Nahl: 89)

So indirectly explains that the basis of all knowledge is only the Koran. Because the essence of the essence in it will always be eternal and relevant at any time without any change. 

Therefore, it is very important to understand education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran . This is so that science is growing.

Normatively, the Qur'an also revealed five aspects of education in the dimensions of human life. Education can maintain the soul, religion, mind, offspring, and property.

2. Qur'anic verses about education and knowledge

Actually, there are many verses of the Koran about education and knowledge that can be made all Muslims. The following are already several verses of education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran , including:

‍

1. Surah Al-Maidah verse 67: Teach knowledge

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الرَّسُوْلُ بَلِّغْ مَآ اُنْزِلَ ا above ۗوَاللّٰهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ

Meaning: "O Messenger! Convey what your Lord revealed to you. If you do not do (what is ordered) means you do not convey His mandate. God maintains you from (disturbance) of humans. Really, Allah does not give instructions to the infidels."

In the above verse tells that Allah SWT has ordered the Prophet Muhammad. This is not to delay the mandate that you already have even if only briefly. 

That is, someone if he has equipped his knowledge or ability, should spread and teach education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran to others who need. Convey even though only one verse.

So, with the principle of mandate of education and knowledge that is owned is not only beneficial to yourself. But it can also be useful for those around him.

2. Letter An-Nahl verse 125: How to Obtain Teaching

اُدْعُ اِلٰى سَبِيْلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَogn رَبَّكَ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيْلِهٖ وَهُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِاtery

Meaning: "Image (human) to your Lord with good wisdom and teaching, and argue with them in a good way. 

Indeed, your Lord, he is much more aware of who is the misguided of His path and he is the one who knows better who is to get instructions. "

In An-Nahl's letter: 125, it has explained that Allah SWT who ordered the people of the Prophet Muhammad to go to the right path in a better way. This is in accordance with the demands of Islam in education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran.

Anyone who wants to be knowledgeable, will achieve education correctly, wisely, and with much better teaching.

3. Letter An-Nahl verse 126: Be patient

وَاِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوْا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوْقِبpet

Meaning: "And if you reply, then reply with (reply) the same as the torture that is inflicted on you. But if you are patient, actually that is much better for the most patient."

‍

The verses of the Koran also give demands to the Prophet Muhammad regarding the procedures for preaching and repay the actions of those who hurt him. This event is one of the education and knowledge in the teachings of the Koran for humans.

Especially, when facing the exact same situation, for example, such as hurt to the attitudes or words of others. If someone experiences this, then the best attitude you can do is be patient. So that it does not reply with acts much more hurt.

4. Surat al-'alaq verse 1-5: science

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ. خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ. اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ. الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ. عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

Meaning: "Read with (mention) the name of your Lord who created. He has created humans from a lump of blood. 

Read, and the Lord is the Most Growth, Teaching (Humans) with the interval of qalam. He taught humans what he didn't know. "

‍

The verse also explains related to human creation and the importance of a science. In addition, Allah SWT has also ordered all of His people to not stop learning.

In addition, the verse will also later give a message that God has raised human dignity and dignity. This is of course through the IQRA process.
