Heri Mahbub
As an Umrah or Hajj pilgrim, you must know what prayers and dhikr to recite when performing sa'i on the hills of Shafa and Marwah, along with their positive values.

Kordoba Cordoba - Mount Shafa and Marwah is a place to perform sa'i. Sa'i is an obligatory practice so it cannot be replaced by other practices, where the congregation must understand the prayer and the procedures for the practice so that the Umrah and Hajj pilgrimages are valid.
Sa'i is done by walking between Shafa and Marwah 7 times. Of course, the condition for performing sa'i must be preceded by tawaf ifadah. So as a congregation, you must understand about sa'i and the history that occurred on these two hills.
The hills of Safa and Marwah are silent witnesses to the historical event of the Sa'i, a pillar of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. At that time, Prophet Ibrahim was commanded by Allah SWT to leave his wife and child in a barren desert. Hajar and Ishmael were provided with food and drink, but they eventually ran out.
Of course, Siti Hajar was trying to find water for her child when at that time she saw a hill, namely Shafa Hill. Then he rushed to look for water towards the top of the hill but to no avail. Then he went down to Marwah Hill to look for water but to no avail.
Siti Hajar then returned to Shafa Hill, then returned to Marwah Hill and did this 7 times. After continuously doing this, from Marwah Hill, Siti Hajar heard the sound of water.
He then approached the direction of the sound, then was surprised to see jets of fast water coming out of the ground under the soles of Prophet Ismail's feet. Now this water is called Zam-Zam water, which never recedes or dries up. People then crossed the area and decided to stay so that the city of Mecca developed.

During the sa'i, prayers and dhikr must be recited. Because sa'i is one of the pillars of the Hajj and Umrah, it is imperative to remember these prayers. Here are some of the prayers:
Meaning: "Indeed, Safa and Marwah are part of the symbols of Allah's religion."
Meaning: "Allah is great, there is no god but Allah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is great, all praise is to Allah, Allah is great, for the guidance He has given us, all praise is due to Allah for the gifts He has bestowed upon us.
There is no god but Allah Almighty, there is no partner for Him. To Him is the kingdom and praise. He is the One who gives life and the one who causes death, in His power is all goodness and He has power over all things.”.
Meaning: "My Lord, forgive, be merciful, forgive, be merciful and erase what you know. Indeed, you are all-knowing of what we do not know. Indeed, you are the most noble and most merciful God.".
Meaning: "O Allah, accept our deeds, make us healthy, forgive our mistakes and help us to obey and be grateful to You. Don't make us dependent on anything other than You. Make us die in faith and Islam perfectly and You will be pleased.
O Allah, bless us so that we are able to abandon all immorality during our lives and bless us so that we do not do useless things. Give us a good view of what makes You pleased with us, O God who is most merciful of all who are merciful.".

There are several lessons to be learned from the story of Siti Hajar on the hills of Safa and Marwah. Some of these positive values can be applied in everyday life, one of which is the importance of trusting in Allah SWT. Siti Hajar's story demonstrates complete trust in her Creator, which differs from resignation.
Because tawakkul (trust) is an attitude of relying on God's will for everything to happen. Therefore, tawakkal (trust) involves the role of effort, where humans must always strive, but God determines destiny.
Embracing these positive values can help you become a better person than you were before. So, in addition to knowing the recitation of the Sa'i prayer, it's crucial to understand the history of the creation of this pillar on the hills of Safa and Marwah.
