Heri Mahbub
In the Koran, Allah, the Most Holy, has the attribute Al Quddus, which means holy, perfect, praiseworthy with all goodness and virtue. Allah SWT himself has 99 good names and is known as Asmaul Husna.

The attribute of holiness means that Allah SWT is a holy being, free from flaws, faults, or mistakes, as humans generally do. This holiness is also mentioned in several verses of the Quran.
Al Quddus, or purity, is used as a reminder in dhikr and remembrance. Asmaul Husana can also serve as an example for Muslims to live a life of praiseworthy qualities, both physically and spiritually.
The nature of Al Quddus (القدوس) is mentioned in several verses in the Koran. Quoted from various sources, the following are verses from the Koran about the holiness of Allah SWT and their meanings.
هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ اَلْمَلِكُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يُشْرِكُوْنَ – ٢٣
Meaning "He is Allah, there is no god but Him. The Most Holy, the Most Pure, the Most Prosperous, the Keeper of Security, the Keeper of Safety, the Most Mighty, the Almighty, the One Who Has All Glory, Glory be to Allah from what they associate with."
يُسَبِّحُ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ God willing
Allah Most Holy in this surah means "What is in the heavens and what is on the earth always glorifies Allah. Maharaja, the Most Holy, the Most Powerful, the Most Wise."
Reflecting on Allah SWT's Beautiful Names can serve as a reminder. Muslims should always purify themselves from various needs, distance themselves from despicable deeds, and adorn themselves with good deeds.
Understanding the holiness of Allah SWT is a form of wirid and dhikr to purify oneself outwardly by cleansing the body so that it is clean and free from dirt and disease.
Meanwhile, understanding the meaning of "Allah is Most Holy" inwardly means avoiding the heart from despicable traits that are hated by Allah. For example, practicing humility, not being arrogant, having good intentions, and so on.
Understanding the holiness of Allah SWT is not only about studying and understanding it, but also about emulating it in daily life. There are several lessons and examples to be learned from the Most Holy Names of Allah.
When He created mankind, Allah promised, "I am according to the expectations of My servants." This means that if you have negative expectations, it will bring disaster. Therefore, mankind is encouraged to always think positively.
Believe that God Almighty grants wisdom even when we experience negative events in our lives. Through every life event, use it as an opportunity to evaluate yourself and change for the better.
The reality is that the people around us are imperfect. While they may be physically close to perfection, no one is morally perfect. Examples include selfishness, anger, stinginess, and so on.
Al Quddus serves as a reminder that everyone, including close relatives, has flaws that distinguish them from one another. Therefore, it's important to train ourselves to deal with these differences.
The meaning of Allah Most Holy seems to be a reminder that humans need to practice dealing with the character of their life partner, children, parents, assistants, new acquaintances, even people on the street.
Mental readiness and an openness to accepting others' limitations will enable you to act wisely. We should view shortcomings as opportunities for charity. It's okay to aspire to the best, but perfection will never exist.
Besides accepting the shortcomings of others, the wisdom of understanding God's holiness lies in understanding that one's own imperfection. Only faith can elevate a human being above all other creatures.
No one can be humble unless Allah elevates him, and no one can elevate himself unless Allah elevates him.
Through verses about the holiness of Allah SWT and the lessons that can be learned, Muslims should be able to apply this praiseworthy characteristic. By imitating Al Quddus, Allah Most Holy will raise the status of his servants.
