The Big Bang theory in Islam is indeed relevant because it is in the Quran, but Muslims must believe that only Allah can create it.

Quranic Verses about the Big Bang

Cordoba Quran - What is the Big Bang theory like in Islam? As Muslims, you should understand the truth from a religious perspective. However, the theory was developed based on scientific and technological findings from human research.

The science of monotheism in Islam is clear and undeniable: Allah SWT is the sole creator of the entire universe and all its contents. In other words, there is no other god but Allah, because He is the One, and therefore the Creator, who created everything, including the universe.

The Relationship between the Big Bang Theory in Islam and the Creation of the Universe

The Big Bang theory states that the present universe formed from a single point in a dense, hot state. As the heat pressure became so intense that it could no longer be contained, a massive explosion occurred. This explosion is what experts and researchers in this field call the Big Bang.

After the explosion, all the debris was ejected and spread evenly. Over time, these debris grew and developed, eventually becoming various planets and other celestial bodies.

For example, the sun, moon, asteroids, meteorites, and so on. So, what about the Big Bang theory in Islam? Do religious teachings also touch on or discuss the creation of the universe?

These two questions are indeed crucial to answer. It is known that the originator of the Big Bang theory was not Muslim, and it's even possible he was an atheist, meaning he didn't believe in God or anything related to religion.

They rely solely on their brains to reason and process various sources of information to arrive at their theory. In the Quran, Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 30, Allah reveals the creation of the heavens and the earth.

Although not in detail, it can be generally understood that the universe and all its contents, including the earth, were created in a certain process.

(QS. Al-Anbiya, 21: 30)

So, the Big Bang theory in Islam is indeed related to the creation of the universe, and it is clearly stated in the Quran. You can further understand it by reading translations and interpretations from scholars.

The Big Bang Theory in Islam and Its Real Truth

In verse 30 of Surah Al-Anbiya, Allah states that once the heavens and the earth were one. The words "heavens and earth" are another term for the universe and everything in it. Similarly, the Big Bang theory states that the universe began from a single, dense, and hot point.

However, this theory never mentions divine intervention. Unlike Islam, which uses the Quran as its holy book as a guide for life, it also describes the creation of the earth, the heavens, and the entire universe.

Allah SWT, as the One and Only God, is also the Khaliq (Creator). In other words, only Allah can create everything, from the smallest particle to the largest. Therefore, Muslims must worship Him and be grateful for all that He has given us to this day, including the Big Bang theory in Islam.

So, how do you give thanks? You can start by saying hamdallah as the easiest, most trivial and simple form of gratitude. Even though it is considered trivial, the rewards are great as long as it is practiced with wholehearted sincerity.

Besides saying "hamdallah," you can also express gratitude in other ways. For example, by giving some of your wealth to those in need, whether through charity (sadaqah), infaq (donation), or zakat (alms). Please start doing this now, even if the amount is small, as long as you feel sincere.

There's no need to wait until you're old or earn a large income, as there's no guarantee of that. It's better to do it now, hoping to receive rewards from the Creator. It's one way to acknowledge and admire His immense creation, the universe.

However, we must maintain our faith in Allah, the Almighty, as our creator. Now, you all have a better understanding of the Big Bang theory in Islam , which turns out to be related.
