Taufik and Hidayah are two important gifts from God who complement each other in guiding a Muslim to the right path. In the life of a Muslim, the term both is often heard in prayer and religious discussions.
Both are a gift from Allah SWT who are highly expected by every servant. Although it sounds similar, Taufik with guidance has different meanings and functions in the spiritual and practical context.

Hidayah is a light that illuminates the heart and mind, guiding a servant to obedience and piety. However, that's not enough. Someone also needs this to be able to carry out what has been taught by Hidayah.
Taufik gives the strength and ability to overcome the temptation, challenges, and obstacles in carrying out God's commands. With this, a Muslim can practice the teachings of Islam sincerely and consistently.
May Allah always give us to recognize the right path or this to implement it with Istiqamah. Without it, someone will not know the right path or how to get closer to God. Both, Taufik and Hidayah, are very important in the life of a Muslim.
Taufik comes from the Arabic word "توفيق" which means ability or suitability. In the religious context, this refers to the ability or ability given by God to a servant to do good and obedience.
Taufik is God's assistance that allows someone to carry out His commands correctly or avoid His prohibitions. Taufik is not just knowledge about what is right and wrong, but also includes the ability to choose and carry out these correct actions.
For example, a person may know that the five -time prayers are mandatory. But this is the ability given by God that makes the person able to perform prayers solemnly and on time. Another example, the Koran is a source of instructions but rarely lies all the time.

In Islam, it refers to guidance and guidance from God that shows the right path to a servant related to reference or guidance. That is the light given by God into a human's heart so that he can understand and recognize the truth. It can be divided into several types:
The general guidance given by God to all His creatures to recognize Him through signs in the universe and human nature. This includes the basic ability to distinguish between right and wrong.
Special guidelines given to believers to further explore religion and carry out Islamic teachings better. This is a deeper or detailed form of guidance.
Hidayah provides instructions and guidance on truth, while this gives the ability and strength to practice the truth.
Understanding the differences and importance of these two concepts helps us be more grateful and try to always ask for these two gifts in our prayers. Although Taufik and guidance both are gifts from God, there are fundamental differences between the two.

Hidayah is the first step in the spiritual process where someone gets knowledge and instructions about what is right or what is wrong. Taufik is a further step in which a person is given the ability to apply that knowledge and instructions in his life.
