Several easy ways to complain to Allah, not others and knowing the best time to express your complaints to Him.

A true human being complains and begs only to Allah SWT

After all, every human being has experienced something undesirable that ultimately led to a complaint to God . In response, many people have taken various actions to solve their respective problems.

There is a way to express complaints about family, friends, or inanimate objects that he likes. There are also quite a few people who share it on social media so that everyone knows about the problem.

In fact, all these problems are inappropriate and should be spread or told to other people. It is enough that all matters faced by a Muslim can only be poured out on Allah SWT alone. Show that weakness before the creator, not with creatures who are equally weak.

Easy Ways to Complain to Allah SWT

The best place to pour out your heart is only to Allah SWT during the third part of the night. Focus on telling Him all your problems after completing the Tahajjud prayer, which is the most important time to get closer to Allah SWT.

Begin your outpouring by reciting the beautiful names of Allah, commonly known as Asmaul Husana. Afterward, you can express your innermost desires, requests, and even pleas for forgiveness from Him for peace of mind, and seek nothing but hope.

If necessary, even if you cry, it's okay. You can pour out all your pain, just like you would a friend. Eventually, your heart will feel relieved and at peace, relying on the Creator of heaven and earth.

Know the Best Time to Complain to Allah

In Islam, there is no place to complain except to Allah SWT. As explained in Surah Gafir verse 60 as follows:

"Pray to Me, I will surely grant it to you. Indeed, those who pride themselves on worshiping Me will enter Hell in a state of humiliation."

That is His promise to His servants who love to complain to God, not to other creatures. By praying, we ask for His help in all the trials we face in life. Here's how to find out the best time to pour out your heart to your Creator:

1.      The Last Third of the Night

This is the time when Allah SWT descends directly to earth to hear the complaints of His servants. Typically, pious people are facing each other to perform the Tahajud prayer while others are fast asleep.

2.      Breaking the fast

The next best time to complain to Allah is when fasting breaks for those observing it. At that time, He has promised to grant every request of His servants who ask.

3.      Finished the obligatory prayer

After performing the obligatory prayers, make it a habit to stay still. This is because it's a time when prayers are answered and all your sorrows and burdens are expressed in prayer.

4.      Friday

Next, on Friday there is a little time for you to confide in Him. This time was explained by Abu Hurairah RA, that the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed, on Friday there is a time when a Muslim servant does not get it, while he is standing praying asking Allah for something good, unless Allah will give him what he asks for." (HR. Malik, Ahmad, Muslim, Nasa'I and Ibnu Majah).

5.      The Night of Qadr

This time is during the very special night of Laylat al-Qadr during the month of Ramadan. Those who pray on this night will have their prayers answered. Therefore, don't miss this opportunity to express all your grievances and prayers.

There are many benefits to complaining to Allah, one of which is that it strengthens your faith because it essentially reminds you of Him. Then, your burdens feel lighter, as the hope that comes afterward brings peace and tranquility to your mind.

It can also help you avoid division and conflict that can arise from confiding in untrustworthy friends. Unknowingly, your friends might end up telling others about the problem.

By submitting to and knowing only God, confidentiality is more assured. This way, no one else will reveal your problems. Remember that only God can address your concerns and all your requests.

Apart from that, it also has the potential to distance oneself from immorality. For example, exposing your own, your partner's or other people's disgrace. Then avoid backbiting or talking bad about other people which is haram, so it would be better to complain to Allah, not other creatures.
