The importance of working hard in Islam is explained in the Koran and also the hadith, among others, as in the Qur'an Surah Al Insyirah verse 7.

Muslims must know how important it is to work hard in Islam, so there are many arguments that mention it. The attitude of hard work itself is being serious, having high enthusiasm for doing something.
From an Islamic perspective, work is crucial for the continued well-being of Muslims worldwide. So important is work that Allah SWT even considers it a form of worship.
Therefore, every Muslim worldwide is obligated to work and earn a living to meet their and their family's needs. This time, we will discuss the importance of hard work in Islam.
At the beginning of this discussion, we will discuss several verses from the Quran and hadith that explain the importance of hard work. Here are some of these verses:
The importance of working hard in Islam is stated in the verses of the Koran and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. One of them, Allah says in the Al-Qur'an surah Al Insyirah verse 7.
"So when you have finished (something), work seriously on another (business)." This verse emphasizes the balance between world affairs and the hereafter.
That is, in between worship, a Muslim should also continue working. Furthermore, the importance of work is also mentioned in a hadith quoted from the book "Working with Fruit in Heaven."
From Anas bin Malik RA, from Muhammad SAW, he said: "If the Day of Judgment comes, one of you will have a seedling in his hand, if possible, he will plant it.
Before the apocalypse occurs, do it (plant the seeds). (Narrated by Imam Ahmad). This hadith explains the importance of hard work in Islam , so it is mentioned that if the apocalypse were to occur tomorrow.
So we must continue working, meaning we must continue working to meet our own needs, as long as we still have the physical and mental strength.
If a Muslim has no obstacles or barriers in earning a living, Allah SWT truly loves workers but also hates the unemployed.
The importance of working hard in Islam was also explained by Ibnu Umar RA, from the Prophet Muhammad SAW. He said: "Indeed, Allah SWT loves every believer who works (earns a living).
Who is the father of the family (the backbone of the family). And (Allah) does not like the unemployed (unemployed) who are healthy, both in worldly affairs and the hereafter." In fact, the Prophet also told his people.
Regarding the prohibition against being unemployed, from Makhul RA, from the Prophet SAW, he said: "You should not be people who like to look for other people's disgrace, people who praise too much (sycophants).
People who like to criticize, and people who are like corpses (namely people who make themselves like corpses, that is, they don't work." So while your body and soul are still healthy, don't be lazy to work.
Having previously discussed the evidence for the importance of hard work in Islam, we will now discuss several evidences that suggest that hard work is more important than begging.
Because of the importance of working hard in Islam, it is better than begging. Imam an-Nawawi in Syarah Riyadhus Shalihin volume 1 stated, from Abu Hurairah RA, he said, Rasulullah SAW said.
"Indeed, the act of one of you taking a bundle of firewood and carrying it on his back is better for him than begging someone. It is good for him to give it.
Or refuse his request." (Muttafaq 'alaih). This hadith was narrated by Imam Bukhari in the book of Zakat, chapter "Refrain from Begging" and chapter "Tafsir: And They Do not Ask.
To Man by Forcing" (3/265, 4/260) and Imam Muslim in the book of Zakat chapter "The Imperative of Asking from Man" and in the chapter "Buying and Selling and Drinking" (1042).
The importance of working hard in Islam which is better than begging is also explained in HR Ahmad bin Hanbal. In another history, Rasulullah gave the example of Prophet Dawud who did not like eating anything.
Apart from those who made their own goods, there was also the Prophet Zakariya, a carpenter who produced various kinds of goods from his own hands.
From Rafi' bin Khadij RA, he said: Once asked, "Rasulullah, what is the best job?" He answered: "A person's work with his own hands, and every good sale and purchase." (HR. Ahmad bin Hanbal).
Several hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) concerning the virtues of work can certainly serve as reminders and encouragement for us all. From them, we also learn the importance of hard work in Islam.
