This is the Special Feature of Raudhah, the Garden of Heaven

The uniqueness of the Raudhah, the garden of Paradise, lies not only in its beauty, but also in the values it contains. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim). This hadith provides the conceptual basis for the belief that prayers offered during the Raudhah are more efficacious.

It's no wonder that Raudhah is always crowded with pilgrims. They gather together, hoping that Allah SWT will answer their prayers. An atmosphere of melancholy and anticipation pervades the area, creating an extraordinary spiritual experience.

There are several etiquette rules that visitors to Raudhah must follow. Male worshippers are instructed to enter through the Umar Gate, while female worshippers are instructed to enter through the Fatimah Gate.

Upon entering the Raudhah, it is recommended to recite salawat and pray earnestly. Congregants are also urged to be patient and not to worry about each other's position, as every inch of the Raudhah is equally important.

Visiting Raudhah is like entering heaven on earth. Its beauty, sanctity, and supremacy make it a unique destination sought after by Muslims worldwide.

Why is Raudhah Called the Garden of Paradise?

As mentioned in the hadith above, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) likened the Rawdah to a garden in Paradise. But what exactly does this analogy mean?

1.  Raudhah is a place to remember Allah SWT

The Raudhah Garden of Paradise is known for the blessings and happiness bestowed upon it by Allah SWT. Muslims who visit this place engage in widespread remembrance and devotion to Allah SWT. Therefore, He has surely promised Paradise to anyone who remembers Him.

2.  Allah SWT Appointed Raudhah as a Garden of Heaven

Raudhah is known as the Garden of Paradise because Allah SWT will move it to Paradise after the end of this world. So, literally, Raudhah is the Garden of Paradise. Muslims who visit this place will be amazed by its beautiful buildings and comfortable surroundings.

3.  Being in Raudhah is like sitting in the garden of Paradise

The Raudhah is a garden of Paradise ; anyone who prays there will be able to see it in Paradise. Because the Raudhah is highly valued and prioritized, anyone who prays there will feel as if they are sitting in a garden of Paradise.

How is that possible? Besides the Grand Mosque, worship at the Prophet's Mosque is 1,000 times more effective. Therefore, it is recommended to perform the Raudhah prayer, both obligatory and recommended, as well as performing I'tikaf, sitting in dhikr, or reciting the Quran to reap the double benefits.

Raudhah is a perfect place to pray

The Rawdah is one of the most effective places of worship, so it's no surprise that many pilgrims seek to visit and worship there. You can perform various acts of worship at the Rawdah, including prayer, dhikr, and i'tikaf. If you have the opportunity to worship at the Rawdah, choose the best prayer to offer to Allah SWT.

You can also prepare these prayers at home before leaving for the Holy Land. You can pray not only for yourself, but also for those closest to you and the entire Muslim community. Or perhaps receive prayers from family, friends, and others. Muslims can pray these prayers in the Rawdah.

The Raudhah, the Garden of Paradise, is a short-term destination, especially during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. You must be tolerant of other pilgrims who wish to enter the Raudhah. Therefore, you must take turns occupying the available spots.

Male pilgrims have the freedom to choose their prayer times in the Raudhah area, as it is designated for male pilgrims. However, female pilgrims have a specific prayer schedule in the Raudhah area, specifically for Dhuha, Dzuhur, and Isha prayers.

That was a brief explanation of the Raudhah, located in one of the most revered mosques in Islam, the Prophet's Mosque. If you'd like to visit the Raudhah, the garden of paradise, you can plan now to offer your prayers in this blessed place.
