Jakarta, November 22, 2025 — Indonesia was once again united in the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an through the Indonesia Quran Hour (IQH) 2025, a national movement that since 2017 has invited the public to pause and interact with the Qur'an simultaneously.
Taking place at the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, this year's event carried the theme " Awaken the Soul, Awaken the Body", inspired by the message of Surah As-Saff about the spirit of the people's struggle to build the nation spiritually and physically.
The event was attended by thousands of participants from various regions and broadcast live on the Nur Quran Indonesia .
A number of figures and religious scholars also enlivened the event, including:
Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, MA — Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque
Ir. Joni Rosadi — Commissioner of PT Cordoba Internasional / Nur Quran Indonesia Foundation
Ustadz Koh Dennis Lim — Inspirational young preacher
Ustadz Abu Rabbani — Founder of Quantum Reading Quran, Indonesian Quran Fever
As a token of appreciation to the congregation, the committee distributed 1,000 free copies of the Cordoba Quran . The distribution began at 11:00 a.m. WIB in an orderly and smooth manner.

In his remarks, Minister of Religion Prof. Nasaruddin Umar expressed his appreciation and full support for the IQH movement.
"Upholding the word of Allah and making His name fragrant, as is done at IQH, will bring protection from Him," he said.
He added that reading the Quran has many benefits, especially since it can now be understood in various languages. The Minister of Religious Affairs also highlighted the quality of the Indonesian Quran industry, which continues to grow.
According to him, Indonesia has high-quality paper raw materials that allow local production of mushafs to be carried out more affordably than imports.
"Indonesia needs two million mushafs per year, while currently only around 400 thousand mushafs are available," he explained.
Closing his remarks, the Minister of Religion reiterated the importance of glorifying the Qur'an:
"The Quran must be above all else. Amidst the busy end-of-year hustle and bustle, I'm here to extend my congratulations on the successful holding of IQH 2025. Ahlan wa sahlan at the Istiqlal Mosque."

The event began with a recitation of Surah As-Saff by Ustaz Ahmad Komarudin, followed by a recitation by the Istiqlal Mosque reciter, adding to the solemn atmosphere. A communal prayer was led by Ustaz Abu Rabbani.
Two MCs, Kang Daan Aria P. Project and Sonny Septian, opened the event with full of positive energy.
Through a series of studies, contemplation, and recitations, the speakers invited participants to understand the core message of Surah As-Saff: building a nation with spiritual, moral, and intellectual strength, as well as real contributions in various areas of life.
